Welcome to our show!

We are a small cat club based in Myerstown, PA. We formed the club in 2020 with the purpose of bringing fun cat events to the Lebanon area. Our shows are family-friendly, with something for every cat and cat lover!

What is a cat show?

A cat show is like a dog show- you've probably seen Westminster or the Philadelphia Kennel Club's show on TV- except we don't have to walk our cats around a ring! Instead, there are six rings set up along one wall, and the cats are placed in cages, and brought out to a table by the judge or handler. Like each breed of dog, each breed of cat has a standard of points, and each exhibit is judged against that standard.

Since we believe every cat can be a show cat, our association has a category for household pets- rescues, cats with no papers, cats that don't quite meet their standard. This can be the most challenging to judge and the most fun to watch!

Judging is continuous, so whenever you arrive at the show hall, you'll see cats being judged.

Cats not being judged are benched in rows of cages. We encourage you to walk up and down the rows and talk to the exhibitors. Can you pet those cats? Most of the time, YES, but please ask the owner first!

What else is there?

Cat shows are great places to buy gifts for cats and cat lovers! We have many vendors, including some local crafters, with a varied assortment of items. They'll have everything from cat beds and toys to jewelry and clothing.

As you can tell by our club name, we like our wine, so YES, there will be a wine tasting! We try to support local wineries whenever possible, so we are pleased to have Regard's Winery with us, from Landisville, PA. They will be there on Saturday only, with free samples, as well as cups and bottles of wine for sale.

We will also hare a raffle table with an array of prizes. You won't have to be present to win, as long as you write your phone number on your raffle tickets. :)

Will there be cats for adoption?

Yes! Local rescue, Friends of All Animals, will be right at the front of the hall, with items for sale and kitties for adoption!

How much does it cost to get in? What are the hours?

The most important questions! Admission is $5 for adults and children over four. Children under four are FREE! Show hours are 10AM-4PM Saturday and Sunday.

This sounds like fun! Can I show my cat?

The September 2025 show will close to entries on Monday, September 8, at 6PM. If you'd like to try showing, or you have any questions, E-mail Cheryl at entryclerk@ticama.org, or Vicki at abylover@verizon.net. We can help you with future shows, too!
